I offer psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families. My goal as a therapist is to assist my patients in discovering a deeper understanding of themselves.
I believe that growth comes through learning and acceptance, and often the most challenging step is finding the courage to seek out assistance. Sometimes a catalyst for this can be a transition, a realization of a pattern in relationships, or a growing sense that one’s past is influencing their present.
Through continued openness and curiosity I work to provide a non-judgemental space, where I encourage my patients to give voice to all parts of themselves. I’ve successfully helped patients who have made progress dealing with a myriad of mental health issues such as trauma, grief, depression and anxiety.
Working With Me
Every person is unique as is their therapeutic process. I work from a psychodynamic, relational and systemic perspective. I’m often thinking about the person’s history, their relationships with their loved ones, and who they are in the context of the world. Together, we outline the goals of treatment which is used as a benchmark moving forward. In addition to providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families, I also facilitate and contribute to discussions regarding mental health.
I am an out-of-network provider, and do not accept insurance at this time. Many insurance companies give out-of-network reimbursements for mental health services. I provide a monthly superbill (itemized receipt of services) as needed.
Getting Started
After an initial consultation over the phone to see if we would be a good fit for working together, we will generally meet once a week for sessions.
I currently provide both in person and remote sessions.
